Subject line says it all. 2000 9-5 wagon, manual transmission. Stopped off to do a quick errand, left the family in the car (car off but key remained in the ignition) and when I came back I couldn't turn the key to start, or remove it, or get the car out of reverse. I had a similar problem in a volvo 850 that turned out to be the neutral safety switch...but I thought that was only in automatics. After a good amount of wiggling the key, steering wheel, and stomping on the clutch I finally got it going again.
Any advice appreciated, since I'm dreading the next time when perhaps I won't get it going again!
