Just bought a 04 Aero. Couple questions.

Had a 9k for 7 years and just purchased a 04 Aero with 110k. While I did love the 9k it was showing its age and time to move on. I absolutely love the Aero so far. All I have to say is WOW about the hot engine. The automatic was beyond my expectations as well moving from a manual 9k. Car rides great but the Aero suspension is a little stiff on CT's horrible roads. Anyways couple quick questions.
I appear to have zero suspension/ride height issues at all. Tires have 11k on them and appear to have been rotated once. The tires probably have 75% tread life left on them and appear to be wearing completely normal. The springs/dampers seem to be in great condition. I think they may have been replaced as I found a paper parts label wraped on one of the rear springs that I doubt would have still been on from new. Also What kind of mileage can be expected out of the 17" tires? The tires on the car are some cheap chinese Capital brand I believe and there is a lot of road noise. I plan on replacing them when they get down to 25% tread.
The rain sensing wipers dont seem to work right. The will sometimes sweep 2 or 3 times but the wiper blade will sometimes stop right in the middle of the windshield. I have to pres the stalk down to get them to go back down. Any idea?
I know the 04's the sludge issue has been sorted out. I was thinking of pulling the valve cover and checking there just to check. Car was serviced at the dealer with mobil 1 most of its life so I am not that worried.
