I used a 3 ton trolley jack at the rear of the front jack points. The jack is one of the longer ones that had a pretty good lift range. A 2 ton jack would probably be insufficient. I also did it a little at a time on each side, gradually getting it high enough.
As I sit here, I remember that there a number of other things that had to be removed, like the shift linkage, the intake pipes, the big electical disconnect on the firewall, but the steps are all detailed in the WIS.
