Cruise is not on. Its kind of a neat feature I guess. There has to be some kind of sensor that can detect the car going downhill and the T7 software calculating no engine load. One tap of the brakes and either it downshifts or the torque converter unlocks. Only happens on a good steep grade.
This does not happen on flat ground. Nobody else experiences this?
The tranny is great on the highway and usually just stays in 5th even on hills and has awesome torque. The opposite of most 4 cylinders that constantly downshift cruising on the highway when going up hills.
