Hello,
I would recommend 3M Imperial Hand Glaze followed by 3M Perfect It Show Car Wax. The 3M Hand Glaze is very gentle and an excellent way to prep the new paint for the wax. I like the 3M Wax because it looks almost as good as a carnuba based wax but lasts much longer as a polymer based wax. Since the 3M wax is purely a wax, I like to prep the surface with the hand glaze. The two products work very well together. If your new paint surface feels smooth, it may be a litle early to clay the car. In addition, the products are reasonably priced.
I have purchased products from http://www.properautocare.com. Great service and great catalog.
Congrats and enjoy your new car.
