I will try to wiggle the yellow out. mabye I dont need to get to the white side. maybe the yellow is all the cause. hope so. probably will be over a week before the new yellow bearing comes in I ordered.
I have been trying to get to the rod on the white driver side to see if I can wiggle it more into the yellow bearing. trying to remove the driver floor vent. got 2 screws out but one I cannot get a screwdriver to b/c it is behind the other step motor (one for the LH driver blend). even got a 6mm open/box combo wrench but the screw head is right against the plastic. can only get the open end on it for a slight turn and that was it. so then tried to remove the LH blend step motor so I can get to the vent 3rd screw. got the 2 screws for the step motor off but it wont come off!! WIS says 2 screws and it comes right off but I swear it wont budge at the top and I am afraid to force it with all that plastic! is there a clip or trick? it seems to have a cover on the motor with 2 screws facing the other direction. seems like step motor needs to come off first so I can get the last screw off the floor vent so I can then get to the rod. the interior 3-clip portion of the white bearing looks OK from my initial view. but the rod is too far up the floor vent to get a grip on it with anything I can push it with.
so...trick to getting the LH blend step motor off?
