I am having a confusing problem with my son's 2001 9-5 Aero wagon. Recently, when starting off to work or back home the car runs poorly for 10 min or so. The turbo comes on early and often without making much power and the boost gauge goes into the orange/red more than it should,. The car stumbles getting moving again after a corner. The turbo makes a whooshing noise. After accelerating quickly and then taking your foot off the gas the CEL light will come on blinking for 20 seconds and then goes off. There is a P1300 code pending. About 10 min. from home is a hill, about halfway up the car will stumble with a half second burp and the CEL light comes on with a P0101 'Mass Airflow Controller' code. After that the car runs great for the rest of the trip. No whooshing turbo. No orange/red on the boost gauge, smooth pulling at low RPM. It is back to normal. What does it take to get his car to run right all the time? Some OBD2 codes and work that we have done recently include; P1334/P1312 = Replace ignition module and issue was resolved. P1141 = Replaced rear O2 sensor and issue was resolved. New fuel pump after this failed. New throttle body and O-ring after going into limp home mode. P0101 & P1300 = Replace MAF twice with used ones from Goldwing and current issue persists. I also replaced the ELCD tube that connects to the BPC Valve hose set and put a new set of spark plugs in. I replaced the vacuum hose from the hooter valve to the firewall. There is a hole in the exhaust that is waiting for this problem to get fixed, if that makes ant difference. I am at a loss on what to do next. Any ideas would be appreciated. JimA
