I tend to agree with that. I have been checking the classifieds from time to time and have read any topic about the prices, specially since Saab announced bankruptcy and I was shocked to see many 9-5s from around the same year than mine (2001) offered for as much as I paid back in June ($5500, 111K), before Saab was going bankrupt. I can understand that if I was a seller and had paid top dollars for my car, I would try to sell it for as much as I can, regardless of the current situation. As some have mentioned here, some parts might be difficult to come by, specially body parts, so, you're kinda taking a risk in getting a 9-5 at this time, but the asking prices I've seen don't seem to recognize this reality.
