Right after I got the car around 35k miles I was getting flares between 2-3 and 3-4. And by flare I mean the engine speed zings way up before the next gear catches. The fluid was a little burnt smelling so I had it flushed with Toyota T-IV. That cleared up the flares 100%. Just now around 90k miles they are back. So I'm figuring I just need to replace the fluid again. They really only happen under hard acceleration. 1 to 2 is usually pretty quick and crisp though.
