I used wagon springs in a sedan... Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Sun, 10 Jun 2012 09:22:41 In Reply to: Re: try your saab indy?, Daniel, Sun, 10 Jun 2012 07:30:31 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I used new ones, but used would possibly be better as they would be as sagged as they need to be. Really, the process was quite simple. That said if you want to do bushings, you'll want the vectra rose bush tool. I haven't done them yet...
but basically, at the rear end, it depends what the problem is. is it sagging? does that bother you? do you load the car heavily? are the shocks noticeably bad? honestly, if the shocks are still good + you aren't bothered with a little sag, my impression from my indy is that an alignment closer to zero camber avoids the nasty tire wear + the car will drive fine. I got the impression that he doesn't do nearly as many shocks as we all do here on this bb + he has plenty of high mileage 9-5 customers... but I put Konis on anyway, because I wanted it "just so"... so depends on your objectives!
