Definitely clear out all the drains as Adam described. Pay special attention to the airbox drains (the lines crossing under the carpet)
Collecting water in the airbox is a classic saab ailment that crosses generations ... happens on 9000's and 9-5's. I think its the same saab gene that causes headlight wipers that dont park :-)
Last time I dealt with this I used a coat hanger. I separated the drain tube under the carpet (both sides) and worked the hanger backwards to the airbox. the clog, that had resisted compressed air, didnt have a chance against the hanger.
