Sean's knob was a Plug and play job, while the others say you have to cut the knob off. I guess it depends on how much glue the assembler used?
I think I will see if I can loosen my knob in my garage. If it wants to come off I will do the job myself. If it takes explosives, I will leave that to the dealer.
It seems to me that a threaded knob and rod with a locking jam nut would make a heck of a lot more sense than this design!
