Best way to add Seafoam to 4 cyl?

I am about to Seafoam my '02 linear, then oil and filter change. What is the best way to get it in the manifold? I was thinking about disconnecting the vac line that runs from the valve cover nipple to the bottom of the throttle body (the one with the white check valve) and introducing 6 oz that way, the rest going directly in the oil filler. Does that sound like the best way to do it? Thanks- JerryC
