I suggest Techron Concentrate. That will not make smoke. I do not think that the engine management system will like what you propose. I would expect that there would be CELs to clear. O2 related CELs and adaption errors. [We have had problems reported where carb cleaner was sprayed into the throttle body; inability to start the engine. You do not want a pool of liquid in the intake manifold. Turbo intake manifolds are designed to have a large volume which may be making such things worse.]
We know that Techron Concentrate cleans intake valves, combustion chambers, piston tops and rings.
As for water in fuel, 10% ethanol in most gasoline eliminates that concern.
You can use one of two types of add-to-oil cleaners. One is intended to be added, idled from cold to hot with zero load and no A/C running. These are often larger cans and may be labeled as a motor flush. If using ramps, you must be on the ramp before adding. The other type is 8-12 ounce can that you add and drive for a few days, then drain. Never use a product that feels thick in the can when shaken, must be watery. Look for a product that claims to free sticky rings and valves. If an engine has sludge, such products could release chunks that plug up the intake screen.
If you can clean the intake valve, ring etc, there is no need to add a cleaner to the engine oil. If you have sludge, then you should not use a such a product. If you do not have sludge, then you do not need it.
