Many thanks for the votes of confidence. I've been wrenching on cars for a long time and have a pretty complete tool set, so it shouldn't be too tough. Here's my shopping list:
Nissens Radiator, clips for overflow hose at top of radiator, Snap-On remote clamp pliers, Upper radiator hose, Lower radiator hose, thermostat & seal, Trans line gaskets, 1 Gallon BMW "Blue" Coolant to mix 50/50 w/ distilled water, and possibly RedLine Water Wetter.
I should have access to a lift so I figure it will take around three hours start to finish.
The car is an '04 Aero and has just under 120,000 on it. From experience radiators tend to need replacement at this age and mileage regardless of what they're in.
Any words of advice on replacing the t-stat?
Thx!
