buzzing sound behind instrument cluster, listen to clip

I have uploaded an audio clip of a buzzing sound that comes on temporarily that seems like it is directly behind the instrument cluster, 2002 9-5 Arc. The history is this: I replaced the shifter cover/jalousie thing the other day and accidentally touched two of the Winter button wires together which blew a 15 amp fuse for Courtesy Lights, which I then replaced. Right after that, the car wouldn't start. Nothing but clicks when the key turned. Connected to a battery charger for only about 5 minutes, disconnected, started the car no problem. The next morning battery appeared to be dead. Turning the key got clicks, the moaning noise you hear in the clip, and no start. Charged the battery all day after topping off the water in the battery and it starts and runs like a champ but has this buzzing a few seconds after the key is turned either to the ON position or if the car is started. I have a hunch it is the steering wheel lock solenoid but won't be able to test that theory until I can get the car on jacks and see if I can turn the wheel left and right without the key. Any ideas? I can't really find anything in WIS or EPC about the steering wheel lock solenoid but may be looking in the wrong places. Thanks- JerryC
