Any 9-5 with TCS can also apply brakes without any involvement from the driver. The question is if it is a good thing for the brakes to be lightly applied for long periods on a long down-slope? The best for the brakes are several harder but shorter brake applications. A cuise control that did it that way would be "quite exciting" for cars driving behind. :-/
