2003 saab 9-5 130k
Have dropped the oil pan twice to clear the screen, the last time was just two weeks ago.
Now using Mobil 1.
Drained the oil after only 1200 miles- a few long trips.
The oil looked pretty bad (dark), and I filtered it with a screen and found some particles- not horrendous, possibly a result of me trying to clean it when the valve cover and oil pan were off.
Would anyone consider using one of the oil flush additives, in hopes of clearing up the oil? Or would you just do a few short oil changes?
thanks,
Rob
