Congrats! I bought one just like it last year. It was about this same time last year when I bought my 2008 9-5 Aero with 33K miles.
This car model, which was introduced in 1998, had been pretty well sorted out as it was nearing the end of its run in 2009. All the engine issues are history, the turbo is the preferred Mitsubishi one, and the turbo inlet Cobra was vastly improved in 2006.
Since this is an Aero model be sure it is shod with 17-inch wheels. I test drove a 2009 Aero which had the 17's removed and replaced by 16-inch aftermarket wheels. Interestingly enough there was a set of 17-inch 2009 Aero wheels advertised on Craigslist in the general area at the same time for $1500. Hmmmm, I wonder where they came from?
Check the upholstery, particulary the side bolsters on the Aero front seats. My car had a short open seam in the passenger's seat bolster that I did not notice until after purchase (hidden by the seat belt). It cost me $200 to repair, and the custom auto upholstery shop where I had mine restitched said they see a LOT of Aero's with this problem.
Make sure ALL front lights work. This seems minor but the lamps are a real pain in the butt to access with the Dame Edna front end.
Make sure the car has two keys and they both work. Spare keys can be difficult to obtain, and two lost keys is a $1000+ problem.
Check the Service & Maintenance Manual to see what has been recorded. Mine was blank at purchase but I discovered later the previous owner had all service done at the selling Dealership, maybe the only exclusively Saab Dealer in the US still in business.
See if you can get a list of Warranty Items which were performed. I saw the list for my car but was told I could not have a copy. Weird.
Congrats again!
