So is there a final word on the subject yet?
I have a 2006 9-5 and the fuel gauge has a number of spots where the needle drops to 0, along with the reading to empty on the SID.
A-Does the whole tank need to be dropped to access the pump as SWEDECAR thinks?
B-Can the sending unit for sure be R&R'd without changing the whole pump? And can this be done with the tank in the car? Or are the same obstructions still the problem?
I'm hoping someone has corrected the issue and can relate, or maybe the Walbro for $200 isn't a bad fix.
