Yes, just did that. Nothing on the stick, same as last time. (It's been pretty dismal, weather-wise, so haven't checked the oil in maybe a month...)
I put in a qt (full syn 5W30, same as what's in there) and now the oil is up to the end of the little bulb, so still maybe about another 1/2qt. low.
I've driven maybe 1,200 miles since they replaced the pressure switch, etc. The car has 108k+ on it, and otherwise performs as it always has. Great gas mileage, no noises, etc.
Is that what would be considered "normal" oil consumption for a car with that much mileage? I'm planning on dropping the car off at the indy who did the pressure switch, just to make sure it's not leaking oil anywhere.
Or, do you think I should add another 1/2 quart and drive it, checking the oil frequently, to see what's going on? (A trip to the indy is never cheap...)
