How many spacers? I would raise the rear over 1" I would put in a genuine Saab 15mm on the upper perch on the Konis. I would also get some of those red spacers from that guy on eBay.....maybe add a couple of those. the 44.5 mm ID ones ar what you need. They go up in 3.5mm increments.
Rremeber ride height is critical not just for bottoming and clearance, but also for lessening camber and toe-in. The suspesion is desigined so the camber and toe-in increase as the suspension goes down.
Witht he right ride height alignment is much easier. You should not need any shims.
