It wasn't great before the bleeding. It might be a little better even now, but still not great.

I didn't notice any air coming out during the bleed or seemingly any air going back in.

If I press and hold, the pedal sinks. I don't think more pressure makes the pedal feel firmer until it reaches a point where it can't sink more.

I wonder if the problem is starting at 5-8psi on the pressure bleeder allows the pressure to dip too low during the bleed process. Starting a bit higher assures that there's always positive pressure. I tried lower as someone mentioned higher is risky for the master cylinder.

How likely are the master cylinder seals to be worn on an 03 with about 120K?
