This question has come up many times on this board, and I have yet to see anyone say they are disappointed in the Linear's performance. I have driven our Linear in Switzerland, where they have a few hills, Germany, where they drive kind of fast, and in the states, where we tend to drive for 10 hour stretches on the interstates. We've packed the car to the ceiling with stuff, and I've always been able to accelerate onto any highway no matter how short the on-ramp, pass anyone I like, and drive fast enough that I could keep up with anyone I cared to on the Autobahn or I-80. The Arc might give you a little more oomph, but the Linear can get you to illegal speeds going up hill too, no problem - there's no question of "dying."
