Well it's not dex cool then must be the g 05 stuff. I bought the car with 6k miles and it was the the light pale coolant, i think the by pass valve failed around 30k and dealer replaced under warranty and the coolant was the same color as what had been previously in there.
I've always used just off the shelf green coolants and never experienced any issues, that includes a 9000 that went some 230k miles and recently my 1999 that I sold with 170k miles.
But sounds like I'd best use the g 5 stuff.
For me it's harder figuring out what to put in it than actually doing the work of changing it, life was easier when it was all green prestone or zerex.
