At the end of the day, its up to you and your degree of comfort around the shop and equipment and how that aligns with the risk you want to take. Based on your prior posts, you seem to have a great deal of confidence in your transmission shop, and that should be a big part of your decision.
You read the pros and cons of various methods on this forum, and maybe others. If you look at the screen names of the folks who talked about transmission care here, you'll see that for the most part these are long-standing, long-contributing members, both DYI-ers and full-time professional technicians. They have offered their opinions based on their experiences with cars of all vintages, and that's also a meaningful input to a decision.
For me, I have just shy of 215K on my 2003 9-5 Arc. At this stage in its life, I am erring on the side of gentlest treatment, and will do the drain & fill procedure at some point in the near future. That's the level of risk I am comfortable with. I'd really like to get this car reliably to 300K.
That's my 2 cents. Best of luck, and let us know how you make out!
