going from p6 to pss is like... well... they are totally different types of tires intended for totally different driving objectives. P6 is probably a reasonable all season touring tire, but there are probably other better options depending on one's interests. Our car came with 17" P6 on the rear, and I've significantly driven another 9-5 with 16" P6. They were fine. In contrast, PSS is a tire you would put on a 911. It is really performance oriented. Summer only. Probably excessive for a 9-5, but it sure is fun. If you are tuning, you should probably upgrade tires from the p6 imho... but there are quite a few good options - PSS probably is not necessary. I would buy them again, but I'm going to try RE970AS for a little longer wear, while still very performance oriented. Consider your driving style and locale in your choice.
