The more I look at the top surface of my Aero's dashboard, the more it looks just like any of it's competitors dash as far as the material and the reflectiveness. This hardly seems like a problem to me. I have from time to time used Armor All on the dash, but usually have little time left now for detailing issues like this. I cannot say that the amount of glare or reflections inside of a Saabis any better or worse than any contemporary car out there, so why try to redesign it? Chances are if the engineers were allowed to have a free hand in choosing a technical solution that further minimized this problem, the stylists would end up having thier way, and the dash would have top look a little like everyone elses to fit in. That's just the neature of marketing, and cars have to be marketed. The dull top surface of a Mercedes dash is not all that different from that of a Saab.
