Well I use copper plugs and run them till 40k miles or so , a few months back started getting the p codes 1302 I think from one DIC and P1334 from the old spare.
But the CEL goes on for a while then clear except for 2x I had to erase the code to get the CEL light extinguished.
So by and by I get to thinking maybe I should break down and buy new plugs - which I did and performance seemed to be better (smoother acceleration) and no CEL for 2 weeks - but last week back comes the CEL.
So my question is - how do you conclusively know or what empirical data do you have showing that what you replaced has improved performance ?
IMO the predictive DIC SW may be flawed, but time will tell with my experiment of using a DIC that periodically lights the CEL.
