I will try to examine the mounting points. Some on the alternator are not easy to see. Luckily, it's not run much. Though it seems to have gotten much worse sounding.
I'm hoping the tension isn't too tight and I can wiggle the belt free from one of the smooth pulleys. The way it's routed, it seems that moving the tensioner in either direction will add tension. Otherwise I might have to cut the belt. I could also try to remove the tensioner pulley while under belt tension. Assuming the pulley doesn't go flying, worst case is I sacrifice the threading on the tensioner.
