Car got overspray.

We have no idea where it happened but the whole driver's side, nose, and top surfaces of my silver 9-5 are covered with white paint over spray. I assumed a good wax would take off the white paint but no luck whatsoever. Even getting it off the glass has been a challenge. I used Goof-Off on a side window but managed to have some run down and hit the rubber trim in which it melted. I'm not sure if paint thinner would damage the OEM clear coat or not? Whatever this over spray paint is, it is amazing as it really adhered to the finish. And, I had "Driven" wax on the car prior to the over spray and "Driven" advertises nothing will stick to their wax. FAIL! Any ideas how to clean up my 13+ year old SAAB.
