I've been noticing that the glare on the windshield during rainy nights is becoming an issue, to the point that I am totally blinded when oncoming lights hit the windshield in a certain way. Not a good situation.
I scrubbed the windshield with BonAmi, then vinegar, and then windex with some extra ammonia added to it. Visibility on rainy nights was helped a little, but still not very good.
I put RainX on the side windows and it helped reduce the glare. (The windows were treated with rainx when it was new, but am sure it has worn away.
I am reluctant to put it on the windshield because of the streaking & fogging it causes when the wipers go over it.
The bottom line is: What is the best way to clean the windshield (and/or treat it) so that the streaking and fogging does not occur.
Any help appreciated.
