The gauge in the car is a pressure gauge. White is vacuum, yellow is boost (actually, my car is a 2008, and they did away with the colors and just have white (with different tick marks) and red).
I disconnected the fuse, and later I disconnected the battery for several minutes to reset the ECU. Still no boost. I removed the front O2 sensor to allow some of the exhaust to bypass the catalytic, and some of the boost came back (I put the O2 sensor back, since I didn't like the noise).
I'll likely just get a Saab OEM catalytic/downpipe, since some of the 3" pipes are a little loud and photos of some show the rear O2 sensor boss looks like it might be too far aft for the wire to reach (I really don't want fit problems when installing the pipe/catalytic).
