It was a really short test drive (about 1 mile). I was a bit nervous about using blue masking tape and twine to secure the O2 sensor to the intake pipe, though. :-)
That's a nasty looking fuel tank. I tend to replace exhausts a little early (when the surface rust starts getting a little heavy. I started doing that when the flex pipe on my wife's 2005 9-5 completely broke while we were 100 km from home (day trip to Washington, DC). No exhaust at all going to the resonator, and the local shop couldn't fix it because it was the flex pipe. Luckily, there's a cross-beam that was supporting the resonator, so it didn't drop down to the road.
