The problems is not whether Pickup trucks and [sic] FUV's have their place, the problems is the 90% of the FUV drivers and at least 75% of the pickup truck drivers where I live don't know what their place is. A guy I work with has a monsterous pickup for his three horse and living space trailer and for hauling construction supplies for the barn and garage he is building, but he isn't stupid enough to commute 40 miles each way to work in it, he has a PT Cruiser for that.

What fries me is people who use these oversized resource wasters in a manner no different than I use by Saab because they either have to be part of the latest trend (FUVs) or need a pickup truck to satisfy their ego, because "real men drive trucks."

Don't bother telling me I'm a little hot under the collar, I know that perfectly well.
