In my personal opinion based on what I have towed in the past, it should not be a problem. Lots of "ifs" though.... 1. proper Saab or Saab 9-5 fitted aftermarket hitch. 2. proper tire inflation. 3. brakes in good condition on 9-5 including new or newer brake booster vacuum lines and valves. 4. I don't exceed 100 kmph. 5. Avoid rough roads. 6. Avoid driving in high ambient temperatures or rain/snow/night. 7. proper load balance on trailer to obtain moderate tongue load. 8. minimize or eliminate baggage or passenger weight. 9. transmission fluid in good condition. 10. keep an extra distance from vehicle ahead and brake early. 11. Going down large hills, start very slowly with flashers on since you will have gravity behind you. 12. If trailer is new, test it first so you are comfortable with it's dynamics. 13. If you are unfamiliar with towing trailers, watch some videos. Good luck!!
