To be honest, I struggle to see how you can effectively determine whether the system is functioning properly without ensuring that you are starting with a vacuum tested and fully charged system. So much related to the ACC doesn’t function properly without the requisite 825 or 875 grams of refrigerant (depending on under hood sticker). These systems have variable displacement compressors and are pretty fickle about over and under charges, so getting the charge right is important for seeing how its working
