Paul, you mentioned in another post that you have a tech2 clone. Have you been able to program keys with the clone, or do we need some kind of security access? I'm considering getting a clone (not sure why I waited through a decade and a half of multiple 9-5 ownership to decide this haha, though I guess it was the loss of our only Saab indy since I'd usually just bring tech2 stuff to him)...
The other option is to pillage the guts from a used key and just get the blank cut locally but not all locksmiths can handle the 2003+ keys. They are more difficult to cut the shape than 1998-2002. There was only 1 in our city of over a million... Paul's suggestion is a pretty good price for the whole key brand new, and worth it imho to have new buttons as they do wear out... Check Larry West's key FAQ if you haven't. It is awesome.
