Agree with Aero Lady about the need for alignment. If your tires are wearing evenly , and do not show any evidence of alignment trouble, you probably do not need it. I also have found that alignment is a service intangible that shops like to sell since it is a high margin service, and there is no worn part to show the customer or other tangible change in performance to hype. They just tell you that all sorts of bad things will happen to you if you do not do it, but factis, if you do not have anything out of spec,it should stay that way barring a hit to the front suspension.
