From the moment the car is assembled, it is driven around. like when it is put on the car transporter, then on a ship at the docks, then off the ship and onto another transporter etc. All this adds mileage.
If you had bought a Lamborghini or a top Ferrari, you would have noticed several hundred miles on the clock. That is because they break in the engine before the customer gets the car.
I would be worried if your car had 0 miles on it! That would have meant that the display was changed for a new one.
