Snow tires

I've posted before regarding this topic. Now I've finally decided I'm going to stick with the 17" size as this should be sufficient for the weather in my area. This rules out Nokian.
I'm looking for something that's good when the roads are dry, something that is "H" speed rated at a minimum, something that is good in light snow (less than 3"), slush, black ice, and generally wet conditions. I don't expect I'll see much deep snow based on the weather of the past few seasons and the fact most of my driving is done on major routes within the city.
From my research on this topic so far I've discovered that Nokians will be out as I mentioned above due to the lack of a 17"
Others I'm considering are:
Pirelli Winter sport 240
Toyo Garitt HT
Michelin Pilot alpin
Yoko AVS V901
Dunlop M2
I'm not interested in Bridgestone blizzaks due to their low speed rating and the fact that they wont be snow tires after they wear a bit.
Has anyone had any experience with any of the above tires? any tires that I'm missing?
This will be my first set of snows for the Saab and any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Brad
