Usually, run out of rotors is not covered as a manufacturing or materials defect simply because it usually is not a defect, but a use related item.
How you discuss the problem with your dealer, and possibly a Saab service engineer might make a difference in how you get this treated, but you should go into it assuming it is a wear and use item, and hope for the best. Just my personal opinion and experience, but many of the posts here on brake rotor warping and wear tend to assume it is a defective item and do not put enough credence in the use and wheel tightening issue.
I have put over 90K miles on two recent Saabs with no work to the brakes whatsoever, and the front pads and rotors were in excellent shape on both cars when I sold them. Admittedly, these were stick shift cars, and I am an easy braker, but I think it ashows that if the vehicle's brakes were inherently poor, this kind of longevity would be unlikely.
