Is this a vibration you have that shakes the whole car, or a wobble in the steering wheel? In certain cases, a bad tire can cause the trouble while it will not show up as out of balance. An internally separated cord or tread can show up on the road, but still balance on the machine.
If the dealer specifically said,I will balance your tires, and you will no longer have a shimmy, you might have a cse to have them take the troubleshooting to the next level, but often with cars, just like going to the Dr, the results are not guaranteed.
I have a somewhat similar problem in my Aero, but just discovered that my servicing dealer lowered my tire pressure to 25 PSI from my previously set 36,while the car was in for the 10K service. This mighthave caused some uneven wearing on the tires, which is now causing a vibration. Check your tires for feathering of the tread, and for runout. Both can still be balanced on the machine, yet cause driving problems.
