Why not get an H rated true snow tire? I have the Hakka Qs on my Aero Wagon - never again! They are a miserable match for this car. Squirmy, aand way too soft. I hope the other Hakkas are better.
Eventually I am going to install a set of Goodyear Eagle UltraGrip GW2s. My wife uses these on her Audi and they are wonderful. Excellent snow and ice grip (though not as good as a Blizzak) and very nice wet and dry manners. Very good dry handling, with just a bit more tire noise due to the sipes. Long wearing. I haven't discovered any negatives about these tires, except that they are expensive and you usually have to order them.
The GY website does not indicate this, but they are H rated.
I can't understand why I don't read more reviews of these excellent tires..... Maybe someone could offer a reason?
