There is no need to go to this extreme, at least if you here in the USA. There are companies here that specialize in "paintless dent removal" that can fix your door without the need for all that disassembly and repainting. I am sure there are similar companies in Europe.
I recently had a small crease removed from the C-pillar of my wife's A4 here in the Seattle area - it cost $130 USD, and that included travel time of the technician to and from the car's location.
The technique they use is to remove the inside trim to access the dent, then carefully work out the dent using specially shaped "spoons". The result is usually invisible to the eye, especially if the paint was not damaged.
I initially took the car to one shop, and the man fussed for an hour and a half and finally confessed he could not figure out how to get the Audi c-pillar trim piece off. He charged me nothing, and I had my dealer arrange with another company to do the work. This man knew Audis, and had the car completely done in less than 10 minutes. The result was perfection.
If your Saab dealer does not know of a compny that does this work, check with other dealers. Most dealers use these guys to fix door dings on new cars. The results are excellent and quite reasonable in cost, and you don't run the risks of repainting.
