There has been a lot of speculating on the 9K board about EBC, and a few that have tried them with slotted rotors were not happy. Think I heard of one that lasted less that 10,000miles. Good to hear you are at 50% at 60k mi. Have heard reports of very long wear with little damage to the rotor.
How is the stopping power compared to stock? Like them?
How old is this Saab with 106k??
In response to the original concern about not turning rotors, I think there are other concerns. Several very good Saab mechanics have stated that rotors should not be turned. If they must be turned, then it should be done on car. Seems that not only can they be turned too thin, but they can get 'out of center' and not work as effectively. I've put 180k on the Saab 9000 rotors without problem.
