...is not the "wow" factor, but all of a sudden noticing "We're here." Trips go by effortlessly with no drama, no fatigue and no backache. Saabs seem to excel in this.

I have made only a few road trips in my Saab - most were around 500 miles r/t. I have actually driven a couple of the legs (250 mi.) straight through without any undue fanfare or discomfort. My car does not have the Aero seats but they are ventilated. The ventilated seats are actually useful in the winter after ones butt had been planted in them for three hours straight.

The mileage (as reported by the SID) on my V-6 with the 4-speed automatic ranged from 26-27 (80 mph freeway driving) to 34 (country roads at a steady 55 mph).
