My other car is a 02 Suburban Z71. I share many of the same thoughts. I really like our suburban. It really handles well for a large vehicle and tows like a champ. The Saab remote activation distance is annoying. I love the reach of the remote on the Suburban. My Suburban actually cost a few thousand more than my Aero. The compass and and temp doesn't bother me in rearview - I never notice it unless I look for it. I wish the Saab had a compass.

Overall I feel like I have two solid GM vehicles. I would never have guessed that I would own two GM cars. This is my thrid GM truck and my second Saab. Other than the VWs that I have owned the Saabs and the GM Trucks have been the most trouble-free (knock on wood) vehicles I have ever owned. My last GM Truck - A 2000 Tahoe - never had one issue in 40K miles. The Suburban now has 10K on it and is problem free. GM is doing something right.
