I understand the mis engineered PCV problem and learned it years ago by experience with Volvo.
I called the local dealer to get the scoop on who pays? The service manager said wait a minute and passed me off to the Tech ....and he didnt know :-)
I called my Saab Dealer who I have dealt with for 20 years and got the word basicly if the Saab is under factory warranty its free. All others get out ya check books.
This problem is noting to mess with as it can damage the oil seals in the motor. It is important that the crankcase not experience a posotive pressure of too great a magnatude ...OR pop goes the seals.
You owners call your local dealer or Saab Customer relations to find out who pays and if there is going to be a service recall for those out of warranty or how about warranty on the problems it has caused.
I havent seen a official bulletin on this as all my dealer could provide was a scan of the system out of the parts system and 2 arrows drawn on the page showing where to drill and how big.
FEEDBACK Please
Tom Townsend
