a '03 Aero auto for my wife. I was looking for a car for my wife and I drove the 9-3SS auto just to see. It handles differently than the 9-5 and doesn't feel like a front drive car. I agree with chris about road noise. I don't know why it has that much road noise, could be those 17" wheels and tires combo. I mentioned that to the saleman as well.
I like the 9-3SS exterior and interior, much more integrated than the 9-5 but some cabin materials look and feel cheap. It is a smaller car than the 9-5 but has more room than the NG900/9-3 except for the trunk.
I bought the Aero for a bit more room and for the $4,000 incentive plus the $500 owner loyalty. The Aero with the incentives is not much more than a loaded 9-3SS, so you have to figure out what's best for you.
Personally, I would wait a year or two before I would touch a 9-3SS.
